Program

The High School Program lasts 10 months, from September to June.

Spanish educational system

The study plans of the Spanish education system are as follows:
1º ESO 12-13 years old
2nd ESO 13-14 years old
3rd ESO 14-15 years old
4th ESO 15-16 years old
1st HIGH SCHOOL 16-17 years old
2nd HIGH SCHOOL 17-18 years old

Level

Students must have a B2 level of Spanish.

DELE Exam

If students need to improve their level of Spanish, Santa Barbara offers them all kinds of courses, adapted to their specific needs, as well as preparation for the DELE exam.

Certificate of studies after the end of the course

50 €. Includes: Academic advice service, welcome pack, internet and Wi-Fi access, course attendance certificate, book, film and cd.s loan service.

Schedules

Spanish classes are held from Monday to Friday (except holidays). The timetable will be confirmed on the first day of class after the level test.

Level-Test

Oral and written level test on the first day of class for all students except beginners.

Cultural workshops

conversation, press, cinema, art, history, literature, business, creative writing, pronunciation, gastronomy, folklore, music. Not included in the price except for Intensive Plus and Superintensive.

Cultural activities

Cultural activities and excursions to places of interest in order to bring students closer to customs, festivals, gastronomy, culture, etc. Some are free and some are paid.

Student card

All our students will have a card from the centre with which they will have access to museums, palaces, theatres, etc., either free of charge or with bonuses.

The school is open all year round from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00. Courses for all levels start every Monday.

DELE exam (Instituto Cervantes)

Santa Barbara Spanish School is an official DELE Examination Centre. Official qualifications according to the degree and mastery of the Spanish language.
