The High School Program lasts 10 months, from September to June. Students must have a Spanish level of B2. If students need to improve their level of Spanish, Santa Barbara offers all kinds of courses, adapted to their specific needs, as well as preparation for the DELE exam.

Spanish educational system

The plans of study of the Spanish educational system are the following:
1st Grade 12-13 years old
2nd Grade 13-14 years old
3rd Grade 14-15 years old
4th Grade 14-15 years old
1st HIGH SCHOOL16-17 years old
2nd HIGH SCHOOL 16-17 years old

Level

Students must have a Spanish level of B2.

DELE exam

If students need to improve their level of Spanish, Santa Barbara offers all kinds of courses, adapted to their specific needs, as well as preparation for the DELE exam.

Certificate of studies after the end of the course

50 €. Includes: Academic advising service, welcome folder, internet and Wifi access, certificate of attendance to the course, loan service of books, movies, cd’s.

Schedules

Spanish classes are from Monday to Friday (except vacations). The schedule will be confirmed on the first day of class after the level test.

Level-Test

Oral and written level test on the first day of class, outside school hours, for all students except beginners.

Cultural activities

DELE exam (Instituto Cervantes)

Santa Barbara Spanish School is an official DELE Examination Center. Official titles accredited according to the degree and command of the Spanish language.
