The Nuevo PRISMA book is required for some courses offered by the Santa Bárbara Spanish School.
In the purchase of any course where the New Prism book is necessary, this will be charged automatically when ordering the course .
It is not necessary that you make the individual purchase of it, unless for particular reasons you need it, such as deterioration, loss of material, etc.
The New PRISMA is a Spanish manual structured in six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 , as proposed in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and according to the contents proposed by the Curricular Plan of the Cervantes Institute . Reference levels for Spanish (PCIC). The New PRISMA is developed following the communicative, action-oriented and student-centered approach, in order to promote the learning of the language for communication in Spanish inside and outside the classroom. This approach considers the student as a social agent who must carry out tasks and actions in various sociocultural contexts, mobilizing their cognitive and affective resources. In the New PRISMA, special attention is paid to the development of learning and communication strategies that help the student to reflect on their learning process. Cooperative work activities are included in the didactic units of the New PRISMA, so that students work together in the achievement of tasks optimizing their own learning and that of the other members of the group; Intercultural reflection or the deepening of various aspects of the culture of the Hispanic world are also worked on. Finally, at the end of each book, the dynamics of the DELE exam (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language, from the Cervantes Institute) is reproduced, which serves both to evaluate the knowledge acquired by the students at the end of the book and for training in the particularities of said exam.
